Changing Tomorrow's Future Today... We are an adolescent outpatient treatment program that works closely with teens struggling with and/or vulnerable to addictions. We offer a relational approach to our patients and their families emulating the importance of the spiritual component of health and well being. We emphasize family focused treatment that addresses the worry and fear for a teen who is at risk or engaging in risky behavior. We recognize that the teens behaviors are usually absorbed by a close family member or guardian.Ultimately, our services are created to reach the family need as much as the patients. Our Treatment Approach Treatment includes adolescent groups along with individual and family outpatient counseling. We offer full comprehensive medical evaluations, medical detoxification, and medical management. Our treatment approach is viewed as a mind, body, spirit approach. We also follow a relational approach in that at the core of everyone is a need to be connected. Our caring staff emulates the importance of the Spiritual component of health and well being. Affiliations New Journey, SDG is a division of 836 Ministries and Coastal Recovery Center, a local private alternative to treatment of addictions. 836 Ministries and Coastal Recovery Center has been dedicated to serving the Grand Strand Community for years. We look forward to reaching the next generation through New Journey SDG with a continued focus on patient care and family health.
